oh man. just watched two episodes of Freaks and Geeks. so funny. one was the one where Bill, Sam, and Neil prank call the gym teacher. well, really only Bill. i was laughing so hard at the very beginning when they weren't getting picked for the baseball team. and bill was like, "pick me! pick me!" oh, it was so funny.

and then i watched the one where Sam buys that suit to impress Cindy. that blue jumpsuit. and he feathers his hair. haha! and Lindsey re-joins the mathletes. that was really funny. i really liked James Franco in that episode. actually, i really like him in the show in general.


anyways. today was a pretty lame day, i guess. i bought another pair of headphones that i don't like. i'm not happy about that.

i watched 3/4 of Revolutionary Road. i just felt like it. it made me really mad because there was a trailer for The Curious Snoozefest of Benjamin Button. and it brought back all my Pitt-hatred/Oscar bitterness.

it just doesn't make sense. WHY WHY WHY was Leo not even nominated?!?? HOW HOW HOW could they do that?!??!

ugh WHEN I AM PRESIDENT OF THE ACADEMY, i will be handing out Honorary Oscars for these injustices.

but i'm not going to get all wound up.

but! i'm super excited that Ricky Gervais is hosting the Globes!!!! THE GLOBES!!!! there hasn't been a host of the Globes since 1995! and they're bringing it back!!!! i think he'll be great. I love the Golden Globes. it's such a party. nominations come out on 15 november, i think!!

geeze. what will be nominated?? Zac Efron best actor musical or comedy. 17 again. he gets my vote. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas win for best actor in a tv comedy series.

seriously though, i wonder what will be nominated? it's gonna be so weird. 5 best picture noms at the globes. and then 10 at the oscars? like, what is the point??? they're just gonna throw in a bunch of crap.

i bet Away We Go will be nominated for Best Original Screenplay. at the Oscars. you heard it here first.

didn't do very much today. ran errands. came back here. hung out. showered. went to work. watched Freaks and Geeks.

i still keep thinking it's one day ahead of what it really is. because today i was so excited because tomorrow i can watch Heroes on Netflix. but then like, hours later, i remembered that it was only monday. and not tuesday. i like Heroes. i think it's good so far. but, i also loved the 3rd season.

wouldn't it be awesome if Jason Schwartzman was nominated for best original score?!!?!? for Funny People?!!!?! that would rock! i'm back to talking about the Academy Awards. OR! if he was nominated for Best Actor in a TV Comedy series. AAAHHHH!!!! that's the Globes.

he made the Sound Bites in Entertainment Weekly last week. i WAS SO EXCITED. it was this quote that his character said,

"In my heart I'm a vegan, in my mouth I lack discipline."

man, i wish people were still illegally uploading the episodes to youtube. i hope HBO didn't read about it in my blog and then went and tracked the people down. nah, i doubt HBO people are reading my blog.

i think it's pretty rad that Bored to Death got picked up for a second season after ONLY 3 episodes!!! hey, the people love it.

Jason is going to be in NYC doing some panel discussion in a few weeks. tickets are only like, 20 bucks or something. MAN wouldn't that be awesome? um, yeah. maybe he'll be in New York when Kara and i go see Rooney. and maybe he'll feel like popping over to Cambridge to play some Coconut Records. um yeah, i would die. i could die happy.

actually. there's still a lot of things i want to do before i die. i haven't figured them out yet, though. does that count? i know they're there.

i think i want to be a music star. like, i want to play concerts. actually, i probably wouldn't like that.

i don't know what i want to be. besides, president of the usa, president of the academy of motion picture arts and sciences, security guard for a major studio lot, lighthouse keeper, location scout, and tv series dvd decider.

the tv series dvd decider is the job title that i just made up for the person who decides where to cut off the dvds at the really good moments. i still don't believe it's purely math-related.

i can't remember all the other jobs i want to be.

whoa, it's 4am! yikes.

last night i got into bed at 3:45am. i lay awake until 4:15am. then got up for a baby feeding. went back to bed at 5am. and finally fell asleep.

oh! i want to own a video store. duh! and wear a cardigan.

today i was driving and suddenly thought of Nell Arnold. my writing teacher/div 2 chair. and i thought of her funky style. i need to put my div 3 in the library.

so, Firefox keeps crashing. it's crashed like, probably 10 times tonight. and my whole computer crashed once tonight.

i should watch Crash, while my computer is crashing, while listening to Dave Matthew Band's Crash Into Me.

it's like the Phantom Planet blog video, Sparks x4, where they are driving through Sparks, Nevada, and Alex is drinking the drink Sparks, sparking a lighter and listening to the band Sparks. it's a classic.

ok. this crashing is seriously getting annoying. thank god for automatic blog saving. or else this entry would be lost one thousand times over.

watched Hannah Montana tonight. has anyone seen the opening credits??? i think they are totally different. it's crazy. also, i didn't even recognize Lily. her best friend. she got all glam.

but man, the Jackson-Billy Ray Cyrus interaction still gets me. they are so funny. and i love watching the Disney channel because they have lots of commercials for Jonas. sunday nights at 8:30, i believe.

okay. my eye hurts. i have to go put eye drops in. and while i'm in my bedroom, i'll probably go to bed.
