ya you're always up to no good

just had a long discussion with one of the resident's about how picky she is. "i'll only eat this brand. i'll only eat this type of pasta. i'll only eat this type of salad dressing. this has to be from the blue box, this has to be from the red box." omg i couldn't believe it. "my apples have to be this, my hot dogs have to be cooked this way and this brand. my oranges have to be this." geeze.

she's like, "haha i'm so picky!!" and i just wanted to say, "um, no you're spoiled."

so, i'm working. i brought my laptop down. it's 11:12am. sunday morning. went to sleep around 4:30am. woke up at 7:35am. slept pretty well. got up. made coffee. got angry with Ruby because she ran down the hall behind me, biting my ankles.

so, after taking my shirts out of the dryer, they turned out more charcoal than black. more dark grey. slate. whatever you may call it. i like it. i might sew a colorful pocket onto one of them. make it into a pocket tee that would cost you $75 from Urban Outfitters. just kidding. it probably wouldn't cost that much.

decided not to make waffles this morning. instead i made toast with raspberry jam and nutella. an irish breakfast! or rather, what we ate in ireland for breakfast.

oh hey, here's something great that i heard at work today. i really want to share it with you. ready? get ready.

"it's not my fault i'm so hott."

deep. profound. speaks to my heart. probably something that will be quoted in years to come. she said that and i was thinking, "am i on an episode of The Hills?" nope. i wasn't. just living with teenagers.

anyways.

i think i'm going to take a nap this afternoon. i'm really excited. i decided it when i got into bed last night. i got in and said, "i am going to take a nap tomorrow."

and that's my story about how i decided to take a nap. i think they have plans to buy the rights and turn it into a blockbuster. Michael Bay is in talks to direct.

we're going out grocery shopping at noon. buy some groceries for the house. i'm hoping it will make the time pass quicker. i think it's a semi-long list.

hm.. what else.

oh! i watched A Lot Like Love last night. oh, i already told you about that. the orange sweatshirt. remember?

i don't know what i will watch tonight.

the sun was out tonight. i mean this morning.

The Sun Was Out Tonight
by Julie Evans

it sounds like the start of a poem with the same title. and then someone will set it to music and high school choirs around the nation will sing it for years to come.

oh! this morning i was thinking about Zac Efron while i was reading some boring story in the newspaper, and i was thinking, "wouldn't it be great if Zac Efron and Joe Jonas were together in the same room?" and then i smiled to myself because, yeaahhhh, that would be great.

and then i read in the magazine section of the newspaper that Nick Jonas is turning 17 this week. um, what? i thought he was 12. when did he get so old?? i can't believe it. and btw, did you know that he wrote the song S.O.S. all by himself, in like, 10 minutes. love that song.

OK, so i love the Jonas Brothers! so what?! who cares?! (said in Fred Armisen's impression of Joy Behar on SNL)

i did read this interesting story in the newspaper this morning about this big protest outside the white house. it was a crowd of conservatives with angry signs about how Obama is a communist. and also that our country is turning towards socialism.

at first i thought this: "why are they so mad?! socialism rules!"
and then i thought this: "but i'm so happy those people have the right to express themselves."

so, it turned out alright. i suppose. it's okay that they have different opinions as me. in fact, it's great!! but, if i had the Matt Parkman power of mind control, i would probably use it. i'm not gonna lie.

omg. i'm done with this.

sorry. i'm getting annoyed with something.

i got the best facebook comment this morning. from my neighbor across the street. it made me so happy to read. it was just very nice and made me nostalgic a little.

it's getting crowded again. i mean, cloudy. not crowded. i don't know where that came from. what i meant to say is, "the sky is getting crowded with clouds." ah, that's lovely, right? my creative statement for the day. besides, "The Sun Was Out Tonight."

such a poet. it's pure poetry over here!

sorry. i'm getting into this angry sarcastic mood that i feel like i can't help right now. i'm going to try and talk about something else.

like sandwiches! i really want a sandwich right now. like, a good sandwich. the girls were talking this morning about "subs" and STILL, the first image that came to my head was a nice big sandwich. it's not a sandwich, it's a subwoofer.

"it's not quality, it's quantity!!"

i can't decide what i would put on my sandwich, though. some sort of meat. lettuce. tomato. maybe some pickles. on some nice bread.

i think i'll go out to the grocery store this afternoon and buy stuff to make sandwiches. i was originally just going to buy soy milk when i go out grocery shopping with the girls in a few minutes, but now i'm thinking that i might go out later because i'm thinking i want more things. and i think it would just be easier just to get it myself.

i think something's wrong with my phone. it's like, not ringing. and not notifying me if i have a message.

ok, great! i'm the bad guy again. perfect. i should wear a shirt around that says, 'villain' cause that's what i am, apparently!

i should have my own tv show.

ANYWAYS. i'm going. i'll talk to you later maybe. if i can get into a good mood again.

alright. it's 11:58am. have a good afternoon. i'm sure i'll talk to you later.

staaannddd back.
you're such a big brat.
