friends! i have so many amazing stories to tell you about my incredible day. i also have wonderful pictures from my expert photodocumenting skills. you should be REALLY excited.
i had such a great adventure today and i can't wait to tell you all about it.
BUT FIRST - i am going to overcome my new found fear of skunks and rabies and go stargaze again.
i think i have a new idea. instead of laying on the daycare lawn, i'll lie on the picnic table. then at least i'll be higher off the ground. can skunks climb picnic tables? hold on, i'll google it.
ok. information was found. they report that spotted skunks are good at climbing, striped skunks are not. this was a striped skunk that i saw. and it says they cannot climb up table legs. so, i suppose i will be safe on the picnic table.
the only downside is that the picnic table is not in a good stargazing location. it's off to the side of the driveway. and there's a bright light. i wonder if i could turn that light off.
there is another picnic table in the daycare yard, but it's one of those Little Tikes ones and it didn't look big enough to lie on. sturdy enough either. it's also way more closer to the ground. it's for babies!
so, i'll scope out the situation outside, i suppose.
oh - ps. i think my piercing is infected. it was majorly hurting today. so, i cleaned it with the special sauce and it started bleeding. and it looks like there is a blister behind it. does this mean infected? what do i do? after i cleaned it with the special sauce i also cleaned it with kosher salt.
oh! and i just finished watching Coraline. wow, great movie! GREAT soundtrack!! really eerie music from the children's choir of nice. Ruby Tuesday actually watched most of the movie with me. she is normally sleeping during this time, which surprised me. but, she sat either on my lap, or on the floor, and she really did watch the movie. i was surprised. and now the movie is over, and she's taking a nap.
ok. i'm gonna go conquer the skunk. wish me luck :)
